Photo Feature: Abandoned Greenhouses

Years ago, when I lived in the suburbs of Philadelphia, I passed some abandoned greenhouses and decided to return a few days later, at dusk, to take some photos.

I ended up with wonderful golden hour photos of these overgrown beauties. I love the contrast of the vegetation's greens and yellows against the blue sky.

As I write this updated post, I tried to locate the greenhouses on Google Earth and have been entirely unsuccessful. Was it in Gwynedd? Horsham? Hatboro? I have absolutely no idea. I do recall that it was a brownfield, awaiting development into a number of developer townhouses, so maybe these greenhouses have been demolished. Either way, I am happy to have captured these photos in 2014.
